Production Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage production operations in a snack manufacturing company.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of goods while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage production staff, ensuring they are adequately trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, implementing quality checks and troubleshooting any production issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Cost Efficiency: Manage production budgets and work to improve cost-efficiency in manufacturing operations.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure that the production facility complies with all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for employees.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials are available for production and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present production reports, including output levels, efficiency, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
