Assistant Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or software engineering and excellent leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Fundamental IT Governance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Environment Management**: Prepare, install, configure, tune, and test QA, production environment, and maintain sales force application.
  • Application Maintenance**: Test, update, and deploy enhancements and new versions of the sales force application.
  • Mobicontrol Application Management**: Install, configure, and maintain the mobicontrol application to manage sales force application remotely on user devices.
  • User Support**: Provide timely support for sales force applications by resolving issues escalated by level 1 support staff.
  • Liaison and Communication**: Liaise with users for enhancements in sales force application and communicate the same to relevant consultants for modification in the program.
  • Training and Documentation**: Conduct training sessions for users and IT support staff on sales force application and prepare and maintain sales force application's operations guide for users and support staff.
  • Problem Solving and Analysis**: Discuss options and solutions with the user to establish the viability of implementing such solutions, plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects, and administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration**: Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
  • System Administration**: Administer sales force one UDs and one backend system.
  • Training Program Development**: Assist in the designing and conducting of IT staff and end-user training programs to facilitate effective management and use of system applications by respective user groups.
  • Software Improvement and Upgrade**: Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
  • Reporting and MIS Statements**: Assist in the preparation of MIS statements and periodic reports of system development activity timely and accurately to meet company requirements, policies, and standards.
Requirements
  • Programming Languages**: Exposure to programming languages like Java and C#.
  • Database Expertise**: Expert in working with SQL queries and good knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Test Case Development**: Knowledge of developing test cases for testing a given application.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
