We are seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join our team at Ingredion. As a Junior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the shift, managing production outflow, and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Management: Achieve shift-wise production targets regarding quality and quantity, and ensure product losses are controlled.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate with Shift Chemist to find in-process non-conformances and ensure different grades of product are kept separately.
  • Maintenance: Check performance of process equipment and ensure proper maintenance. Liaise with Shift Engineer of other divisions for shutdown and plant operation during load shedding.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure deliverables related to operating procedures, continuous improvement, and innovation. Continuously work on improving ways of working and logical problem-solving approaches.
  • Safety: Ensure safety of product, process equipment, and workers during shift. Use PPEs at all locations and perform technical works with due work permits.
Requirements
  • B.Sc/B.E Engineering (Chemical) with 1+ years of experience.
  • Manufacturing literacy.
  • Knowledge about instrumentation and DCS/SLC operation.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience in Labor handling.
  • Knowledge about Plant trouble shooting and controlling.
  • Knowledge of GMP/HACCP procedures.
  • A strong understanding of Safety and Environment.
