Job Description

A Financial Operations Manager oversees the financial health of an organization and ensures its continued viability.

The role involves supervising important functions, such as monitoring cash flow, determining profitability, managing expenses, and producing accurate financial information.

  • Develop a strategic business plan in support of financial goals and objectives
  • Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and other support for management meetings
  • Review and analyze financial statements and metrics
  • Assist with consolidated financial reporting journal entries and deliverables on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Perform analysis, make recommendations, and participate in discussions pertaining to consolidation and reporting matters
  • Identify process improvements and lead efficiency projects
  • Support decisions with financial information and analysis
  • Participate in other projects and ad-hoc analyses and reports
  • Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met
  • Assist with month-end closing of books
  • Create revenue recognition rules according to accounting standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACCA certification or related academic background; additional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) are a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably in a technology firm
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Experience with taxation, including corporate tax, withholding tax filing, sales tax, and income tax
  • Experience with petty cash handling and verification
  • Excellent team management skills
  • Expertise in using Excel and complex formulas
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliances (SECP, SRB, FBR, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
