Revenue Accounting Manager

The role of Revenue Accounting Manager is to oversee the revenue accounting function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, budgeting and reforecasting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, reviewing and finalizing revenue estimates, providing business support in contract preparation and review, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure all contractual documents are updated and accurately maintained.

This senior leadership position requires a strong finance background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as problem solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred) is also essential. In-depth knowledge of revenue, billing and credit control processes is crucial for success in this role.

As a key member of the team, the Revenue Accounting Manager will lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with QHSE standards. Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders are also vital for success in this role.

  • Manage the invoicing process, accuracy and timely submissions to customers.
  • Review and finalize revenue estimates, including variance analysis between actual revenue, budgeted figures, and prior estimates.
  • Provide business support in the preparation, review, and execution of customer contracts, agreements, and addendums.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all contractual documents are updated and accurately maintained.
  • Supervise the preparation and finalization of revenue and receivables reports for the Board of Directors meetings, ensuring alignment with prescribed reporting formats.
  • Prepare monthly reports for regional office, including IFRS-Pack, PD reporting, and customer analysis.

Requirements:

  • MBA Finance / ACCA / ICMA
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in revenue, billing, credit control, or related fields.
  • For ACCA candidates, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skill, and a customer-centric attitude towards client relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of revenue, billing and credit control.
