As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be working closely with customers and the LITS team in defining and delivering the best solution to customer requirements by using latest versions Business Central.

You will be responsible for carrying out research and delivering proofs of concept around the latest technology, advising customers and the team on aspects of technology surrounding Business Central including deployment, infrastructure & sizing, running integration workshops, documenting findings and proposed solutions, estimating work required, writing development specifications and working closely with developers to see work to completion.

Your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding quality developments when required, end-to-end testing of previously designed solutions, software installations and ensuring seamless system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out research and delivering proofs of concept around the latest technology
  • Advising customers and the team on aspects of technology surrounding Business Central
  • Running integration workshops and documenting findings
  • Writing development specifications and working closely with developers
  • Delivering outstanding quality developments
  • End-to-end testing of previously designed solutions
Requirements:
  • Solid background in general IT disciplines
  • Networking – understanding TCP/IP, Firewalls and being able to troubleshoot basic connectivity issues between servers and systems
  • Relational databases and database management systems especially SQL server
  • Hardware – understanding client & server hardware (CPU, RAM, Disks etc.) and interactions with software systems (ERP) aimed at sizing and physical infrastructure design
  • Excellent understanding of most common protocols/technologies involved in systems integrations
  • Experience with Business Central consultancy and development up to the latest version
  • Excellent knowledge of AL
  • Comfortable with working on projects with multiple extensions (our own and 3rd party) with multiple dependencies
