Cyber Security Presales Engineer Role Overview
The Cyber Security Presales Engineer plays a crucial role in designing customized cybersecurity services and solutions for clients. This position involves creating technical proposals, presenting solutions, conducting demos, and working closely with sales and technical teams to ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Customized Cybersecurity Services: Develop tailored cybersecurity services (Security Assessment, Governance Risk Compliance, Consultancy) and solutions (SIEM Security Orchestration Automation Response, Identity Access Management/Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Detection Response/XDR, Zero Trust Architecture, Cloud Security).
  • Create Technical Proposals: Design and develop comprehensive technical proposals and documentation for client engagements.
  • Presentation and Demo Skills: Conduct solution presentations and demos to showcase cybersecurity offerings to clients.
  • Analyze Client Environments: Analyze client environments to design secure and scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Client Relationships: Address technical queries, build strong client relationships, and educate clients on emerging cybersecurity trends.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
  • Presales Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.

Technical Skills:
  • Cybersecurity Frameworks: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
  • Solutions Experience: Experience with SIEM, SOC, IAM, PAM, EDR, XDR, Zero Trust, and Cloud Security solutions.
  • Architecture Design: Ability to design and propose secure, scalable, and compliance-driven cybersecurity architectures.
  • Security Assessment: Familiarity with security assessment methodologies, GRC (Governance Risk Compliance), and consultancy practices.

Functional Skills:
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation and demo skills with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical solutions effectively.
