Senior Marketing Professional

We are seeking a rising star who asks and answers the question: how can we deliver better marketing results for our clients? A self-starter with experience using proven and efficient methods to develop informed points of view (POVs) and client recommendations to optimize and improve client marketing success across several disciplines.

This role has varied responsibilities in an entrepreneurial environment, including:

  • Collaborating with clients to provide strategic thought leadership and business acumen both within and beyond the communications process.
  • Helping lead the agency team strategically in all facets of current and prospective client business.
  • Crafting bullet-proof POVs that build client trust, respect, and relationships.
  • Being big picture and detail-oriented in the same day, making day-to-day tactics as strategic as the next big idea.
  • Tracking competitive and marketplace activities, identifying and communicating implications for the client – its agency and other client stakeholder teams.
  • Collaborating with the research team to define research objectives.
  • Analyzing research and data to develop presentations that highlight findings and insights sparking the creative development process and optimizing marketing program results.
  • Creating informative, insightful, and inspiring creative briefs.
  • Researching and solving ad hoc problems: How should we do XYZ? Where can we get information on ABC? How can we improve XYZ?

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in agency or client business or portfolio school strongly preferred. Recent experience in a role akin to a junior to mid-level brand planner is desirable.
  • Some digital planning experience is beneficial.
  • Examples of experience using quantitative and qualitative research with an ability to find, summarize, and adapt insights across clients' marketing initiatives.
  • Concise written and verbal presentation skills and style, with the ability to lead a room/remote audience through a presentation influencing and leading others to rally behind a great idea or point of view.
  • Left/right-mind capabilities, balancing detailed numbers-oriented thinking with what-if ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Effective communication up, down, and across.
