Physical Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Hospital.
Job DescriptionAga Khan University Hospital's Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department provides comprehensive services to assist adults and children with physical and neurological disabilities. Our department employs psychological, social, and vocational interventions to restore physical functions, minimize pain, and disability of patients.
Our goal is to provide high-quality care that promotes independence and improves the overall well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to address movement limitations and abilities.
- Conduct perceptual psychosocial activities and instrumental activities of daily living to promote independence.
- Assess patients for adaptive equipment and assistive devices needs.
- Liaise with medical personnel to obtain relevant information about patient progress and needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosed conditions, treatment plans, and expected prognoses.
- Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized university.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist or one year of traineeship.
- Knowledge of physical therapy theory, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical therapy procedures and apply assistive devices.
