Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the human resources function within the organization, overseeing key areas such as recruitment and staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, legal compliance, policy development, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Recruitment: Spearhead the hiring process to ensure the right candidates are brought on board. This includes developing job descriptions, posting job openings, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and conducting thorough background checks.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by managing relationships between employees and the organization. This involves resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and implementing initiatives to boost morale and motivation.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee salary structures, employee benefits, compensation, and rewards programs to ensure they align with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement effective performance evaluation systems, including regular feedback and goal-setting processes. This will enable employees to grow professionally and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. This will equip employees with the necessary expertise to perform their roles effectively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant employment laws and regulations. This involves staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives and industry standards. This will provide a framework for decision-making and help minimize risk.
  • Talent Management: Develop a talent strategy to support long-term organizational goals. This involves identifying and nurturing high-potential employees, providing opportunities for growth and development, and ensuring succession planning is in place.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in a similar HR leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to motivate and lead a team to achieve organizational objectives
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in using data analytics tools to inform decision-making
