Job Title: Solution Architect Consultant

About the Role

The ideal candidate will provide architecture leadership, guidance, and mentoring to our engineering teams.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions.

A thought leader with real-world business sense and ability to collaborate across functions.

  • Add value to development teams by addressing technical risks.
  • Build early prototypes and validate technical design and performance.
  • Understand long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies introducing innovation.
  • Adjust product architecture responsively as requirements and technologies evolve.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and formulate appropriate architecture.
  • Translate software architecture into design with the development team.
  • Participate actively in the development process.
  • Work closely with product management, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Align IT needs with enterprise strategy.
  • Implement standards, reference architectures, and technology selection.
  • Analyze gaps in technology practices and translate them into opportunities.
  • Participate in architecture audits and provide value where gaps exist.
  • Define architecture principles and research current and future technology standards.
  • Manage architecture information and artifacts using appropriate tools.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  1. 8+ years of hands-on software development and large-scale project delivery.
  2. Proficiency in scalable software design and architecture.
  3. Knowledge of software development methodologies.
  4. Experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  5. Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, networking, DevOps, CI/CD.
  6. Deep knowledge of databases, data modeling, and optimization.
  7. Advocacy for SOLID principles and mentoring teams on best practices.
  8. Practitioner of common design patterns and experience with various architecture patterns such as Microservices, Layered, CQRS, SOA, Hexagonal, Event-driven, Serverless.
