Awal Telecom invites applications from experienced professionals for the position of Wireless Carrier Account Manager based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

About the Job

The Wireless Carrier Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers, and increasing account knowledge and influence.

This role requires a self-starter with the ability and motivation to work independently to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize duties and functions effectively.

  1. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all product and service offerings.

  2. Effectively market and lease communications infrastructure, Build-to-Suit capabilities and services to customers within an established geographic area.

  3. Identify new business opportunities with named wireless carriers, tower owners, consultants and other new prospects through research, calls, meetings and presentations.

  4. Achieve new business leasing budgets quarterly and annually.

  5. Presents creative solutions that capture greater market share while solving customer challenges.

  6. Broaden established customer relationships and develop new relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers to increase account knowledge and influence.

  7. Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.

  8. Leverage effective closing skills to drive new business, i.e., overcome customer objections and/or obstacles throughout the sales process.

  9. Initiate, organize, prepare and lead customer sales calls with consistent follow-through.

  10. Maintain a clear understanding of customers' business, decision-makers and influencers, as well as the budget and approval processes.

  11. Champion customer issues, challenges and opportunities internally while providing excellent customer service.

  12. Provide accurate and timely pipeline and lease-up forecasting in Salesforce.com.

  13. Attend zoning hearings and site visits.

Requirements

  1. Proven successful sales track record with a growth mindset.

  2. Excellent ability to create new, and maintain existing, account relationships.

  3. Strong networking and prospecting skills; able to research and prioritize potential opportunities and create relationships that lead to new sales.

  4. Self-starter with the ability and motivation to work independently to achieve sales targets.

  5. Ability to qualify leads effectively and manage business opportunities to consistently achieve targets.

  6. Ability to identify key contacts for follow up; excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure understanding.

  7. Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  8. Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.

  9. Effective in achieving results in a time-sensitive and high volume environment.

  10. Good strategic and creative problem solving skills that effectively influence decision making in negotiations.

  11. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively; strong proficiency in leading dynamic presentations to customers.

  12. Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment.

  13. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
