Job Title: Procurement Leadership

Job Summary:

  • We seek a seasoned procurement professional to lead our procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our procurement system, ensuring seamless integration with our supply chain operations.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to update vendor selection criteria and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, assign tasks, and monitor lead times to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Analyze inventory levels and plan imports accordingly to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Coordinate with stores to ensure timely receipt of goods and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best freight rates and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage procurement activities across various categories, including but not limited to indirect materials, direct materials, and services.
  2. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  4. Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to discuss performance, negotiate pricing, and resolve any issues.
