Shopify Development Expertise

We are a dynamic e-commerce company seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify theme development, Liquid programming, Shopify Plus customizations, and e-commerce best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage advanced features of Shopify Plus to enhance the functionality of high-volume stores.
  • Work with third-party Shopify apps, integrating them seamlessly into the Shopify ecosystem to extend the store's functionality.
  • Implement SEO best practices across Shopify stores, including optimizing meta tags, on-page SEO, improving website speed, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and maintaining a well-structured, SEO-friendly codebase.
  • Utilize Git Actions and CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment processes.
  • Use Git for source control, managing codebase versions, and collaborating with the team using Git workflows.
  • Build custom features and functionalities on Shopify, including creating custom templates, pages, and sections to improve the store's user experience.
  • Implement performance optimizations to improve store speed and customer experience, including theme and image optimization, reducing load times, and ensuring mobile responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers to turn UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites.
  • Address and fix bugs or issues within Shopify themes, applications, and the overall store experience.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to clients on Shopify-related issues and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Shopify Plus and advanced customization features.
  • Experience working with Shopify apps and the ability to integrate them into Shopify stores.
  • Solid understanding of Shopify's platform architecture, including the theme file structure and Shopify API (RESTful and GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with Git Actions for automating workflows and managing CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify stores, including optimization for search engines and page speed.
  • Experience with Shopify App Store integrations and configuring third-party tools.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including conversion optimization, user experience (UX), and customer journey.
  • Good understanding of version control using Git.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including designers, marketers, and other developers.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear guidance to clients and team members.
