Project Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the National Programme Manager in managing day-to-day programme implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in designing and implementing project activities. They will also possess excellent analytical and writing skills, as well as proficiency in standard software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The Project Analyst will work closely with other project colleagues, national counterparts, development partners, and civil society organizations to achieve programme objectives. They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and consistent work, while demonstrating a client-oriented approach, tact, and ability to work with people of different cultural backgrounds.

In this role, the Project Analyst will deliver distinct outputs of the programme, complete specified deliverables, and submit monthly and quarterly reports on assigned tasks. They will also provide effective support and contribute to the efficient management of the programme, including preparation of programme document drafts, work plans, budgets, low-value agreements, proposals, and reports.

The incumbent will perform other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the office and the organization.

Education:

• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Social Sciences, including Development Studies, Project Management, or relevant related fields
• First-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional 2 years of qualifying experience

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years (with a Master's degree) or 4 years (Bachelor's degree) of professional work experience in the development sector, project management, communications/advocacy/reporting, or relevant related field
• Proven experience with project management and project implementation
• Proficiency in standard software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Previous experience in International Organizations, UN Agencies, OR UNDP is an advantage

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English and Urdu (as national language)
