Job Title: D365 Business Central Technical Consultant

This position involves working closely with customers and the LITS team in defining and delivering solutions to customer requirements by utilizing the latest versions of Business Central, as well as other Microsoft cloud products and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop proofs of concept for the latest technologies.
  • Provide guidance to customers and the team on technology aspects surrounding Business Central, including deployment, infrastructure, and sizing.
  • Lead integration workshops, document findings and proposed solutions, estimate work required, and deliver outstanding quality developments when needed.

Requirements:

  • A strong analytical skillset with the ability to understand requirements and translate them into system designs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage workload and time effectively.
  • Highly competent in preparing business communications and documentation, including specifications, emails, quotations, proposals, and reports.

Tech Requirements:

  • Solid background in general IT disciplines, networking (TCP/IP, Firewalls), software, relational databases (SQL Server), and hardware interactions.
  • Excellent understanding of common protocols/technologies involved in systems integrations (HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP Web Services, REST/JSON APIs) and Azure cloud.

Business Central Skills:

  • Experience with Business Central consultancy and development up to the latest version.
  • Excellent knowledge of AL and ability to relate screens and procedures in Business Central to underlying solution code (standard and/or customized).
  • Hands-on experience in Power Automate, Integration, and Data Verse, comfortable with using tools like Business Central in Docker Containers, Boards & Work Items, and Repos.
