Senior Manufacturing Manager Job Description

Objective:

  • Lead and manage the production team to meet project goals, quality standards, and deadlines.

Job Summary:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned manufacturing professional to take on a leadership role in our Manufacturing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, including planning, budgeting, and implementing process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to motivate and inspire their team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is passionate about continuous improvement and has the ability to think critically and strategically.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective production strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate project plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
