Game Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to join our quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for thoroughly testing video games to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues.

This role involves working closely with developers, designers, and producers to ensure a polished and high-quality gaming experience for end-users.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Systematic game playtesting to identify, reproduce, and document bugs, crashes, or glitches.
  • Reporting issues clearly and accurately using bug-tracking tools.
  • Verifying fixes and retesting reported issues to ensure resolution.
  • Testing various game components including gameplay mechanics, graphics, UI, sound, and performance.
  • Providing feedback on playability, balance, difficulty, and user experience.
  • Conducting platform-specific testing (PC, console, mobile).
  • Performing regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing features.
  • Collaborating with developers, artists, and producers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Following test plans, checklists, and QA procedures consistently.
  • Contributing to improving QA processes and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Passion for gaming with strong knowledge of different game genres and platforms.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and issues quickly.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal & written) to document and report bugs effectively.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking software.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
