Job Title: Video Game Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality assurance team as a video game tester. The successful candidate will be responsible for thoroughly testing video games to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Playtest games systematically to identify, reproduce, and document bugs, crashes, or glitches.
  • Report issues clearly and accurately using bug-tracking tools.
  • Verify fixes and retest reported issues to ensure resolution.
  • Test different game components including gameplay mechanics, graphics, UI, sound, and performance.
  • Provide feedback on playability, balance, difficulty, and user experience.
  • Conduct platform-specific testing (PC, console, mobile).
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not break existing features.
  • Collaborate with developers, artists, and producers to ensure quality standards are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Possess a passion for gaming with strong knowledge of different game genres and platforms.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and issues quickly.
  • Exhibit good communication skills (verbal & written) to document and report bugs effectively.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking software is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
