Senior Data Scientist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and data architecture, as well as be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

About the Job

The Senior Data Scientist will play a key role in developing and deploying machine learning models to solve real-world business problems. This includes recommendation systems, forecasting, classification, and other complex tasks. We're looking for someone who can work closely with data engineers and product managers to define data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

This position requires advanced statistical analysis and A/B testing skills, as well as experience designing scalable data science pipelines and integrating models into production environments. The successful candidate will also be able to communicate insights and results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning roles
  • Strong experience with Python, SQL, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and/or TensorFlow/PyTorch
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and feature engineering
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present data-driven decisions
  • Comfortable working remotely during night shift (6 PM – 3 AM PKT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with time-series forecasting, NLP, or recommender systems
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Previous work with US-based companies or remote, international teams
  • Knowledge of data versioning and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, DVC)
