The Manager FP&A role involves a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department, under general direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department.
- Preparing month-end journal entries for provisions, reserves, and consumption to ensure they reflect the appropriate accounting period.
- Thoroughly reviewing customer orders to maximize recovery and reduce delinquent receivables.
- Reporting timely to the area finance team on sales forecasts, H.56, H.37, SGNA, and variance commentary.
- Reporting timely to local finance and commercial teams on sales pivot, statutory sales tax, DSO, variances, customer hold release status.
- Serving as a point of contact for the contractual workforce and partnering with service providers for payroll processing, recoveries, expense claims, and other expenses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Preferably holding an MBA in Finance & Accounting or CA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.
- Ability to execute highly complex or specialized work.
- Knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in the area.
- Works independently, applies standards, and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems.
