About Sea Freight Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to contribute to our dynamic team. As a Sea Freight Specialist, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
  2. Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
  3. Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers.
  4. Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on emails.
  5. Collaborate with carriers and customers for seamless operational coordination.
  6. Handle general data entry tasks using software applications.
  7. Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.
Required Skills:
  1. Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics / supply chain movements.
  2. Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and E-mail.
  3. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
  4. Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
  5. Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Direct Sales, Customer Service or related industry.
  2. Fresh candidates and prior experience in shipping and freight forwarding are welcome.
