Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Testing Specialist to lead our quality assurance efforts in an agile/scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement day-to-day testing activities, collaborating with developers, architects, and technical release managers.
  • Contribute to scrum & product planning and be responsible for all phases and types of testing.
  • Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, and changes.
  • Collaborate with other QA staff to accomplish daily QA tasks on-time with high quality.
  • Design processes to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible.
  • Stay up-to-date with processes, workflows, and software to keep procedures current.
  • Assist in developing ongoing training programs for the QA Team.
  • Provide department-specific orientation and training for new hires.
  • Ensure open communication with internal teams.
  • Support project kickoffs and requirements/specs gathering.
  • Understand complex business and functional requirements to provide direction in designing technical test cases.
  • Work with project and engineering teams to implement & enforce quality gates at each stage of the pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with white box and black-box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Proficiency in Postman and JMeter.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process.
