The Division:

A leading developer of software products for the automotive repair industry, our R.O. Writer shop management system is deployed in over 4000 locations in the United States and Canada. We seek Software Quality Assurance Experts for a full-time opportunity on our core Midas product team.

The Position:

We hire two self-directed and motivated Software Quality Assurance Experts to extend our R&D team. These individuals should have strong technical skills and hands-on experience in manual testing to ensure high-quality delivery.

As part of the resource-center team, successful hires will work delivering quality assurance testing for a complex enterprise-grade ERP application.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop comprehensive test procedures and frameworks using internal tools.


• Balance manual and automated testing to improve efficiency and test coverage.


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners to ensure desired product quality.


• Participate in developing test plans and provide regular updates against milestones.


• Develop subject matter expert-level knowledge of technology areas and products.


• Initiate Quality initiatives within development and operations.

Required Qualifications:

Qualification, Skills, and Knowledge:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related fields with equivalent combinations of education and experience.


• Four+ years of professional testing experience as a software QA engineer, preferably in commercial software settings using Agile methodologies.


• Primarily strong experience in manual testing.


• Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, and WinAppDriver for WinForms testing is beneficial.


• Strong SQL query and procedure execution skills.


• Ability to test efficiently within deadlines.


• Strong test documentation, test management, test execution, and reporting skills.


• Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective teamwork with US counterparts.


• Knowledge of Scrum, Development Lifecycles, Virtual Machines, and Microsoft environments (7, 8, 10, 11) is advantageous.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.


• Positive disposition, self-motivated, organized, and reliable attitude.


• Ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.
