Job Title: Senior Editor

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Editor to join our team. As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for editing and publishing high-quality research papers and reports. You will also be expected to maintain the highest standards of editorial excellence and ensure that all publications meet the Centre's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing and publishing high-quality research papers and reports
  • Maintaining the highest standards of editorial excellence
  • Ensuring that all publications meet the Centre's quality standards
  • Collaborating with other editors and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, political science, economics, public policy) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in academic or think tank publishing
  • Exceptional editing and writing skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and ability to improve clarity and coherence
  • Familiarity with academic publishing standards, including peer review processes and publication ethics
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, reference management software, Turnitin)
