Job Description

We are seeking an experienced developer with a strong understanding of backend architecture who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python and relevant frameworks/libraries such as Flask-RESTPlus, Flask-RESTX, Celery, and SQLAlchemy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing backend systems that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend systems using Python and relevant frameworks/libraries.
  • Implement background tasks, scheduling, and middleware in a scalable manner.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end systems.
  • Optimize and improve the performance of existing backend systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Maintain data integrity and security of backend systems using JSON schema and other relevant tools.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend architecture and incorporate them into the development process.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers in the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in backend development using Python and relevant frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of backend architecture, including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Celery, background jobs, WebSockets, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, and S3.
  • Knowledge of middleware and JSON schema for data integrity and security.
