Data Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our data platform.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a strong understanding of data modeling, pipelining, and MLOps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and secure data platforms using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines and ensure seamless product changes.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in data systems and processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide data solutions.
  • Perform data quality checks and automate quality control processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Hands-on experience with star/snowflake schema design, data modeling, data pipelining, and MLOps.
  • Expertise in AWS data pipelines (Lambda, AWS Glue, Step Functions, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one major programming language like Python or Java.
  • Experience with Data Analysis Tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
