Job Opportunity: Architect and Evolution of Data Platforms

As a key member of the Chief Data and Analytics Organization, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and evolving firm-wide data platforms for AI/ML and GenAI. This position requires expertise in modern cloud-based technologies to enhance and develop architecture platforms, as well as support strategic global solutions.

Working within the Enterprise Technology function at JPMorgan Chase, you will leverage advanced architecture capabilities to drive best-in-class outcomes. Your collaboration with colleagues across the organization will be essential in delivering comprehensive data management solutions that make JPMC's data discoverable, understandable, observable, trustworthy, accessible, and interoperable for authorized personas.

  • Design complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design principles.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, clients, and vendors to establish platform objectives and target state architecture.
  • Create and evolve strategic architecture to enable business objectives, utilizing experience with C4, DDD, data modeling, and SDLC practices.
  • Organize and manage solutions libraries focusing on end-to-end data lifecycle experience from origination to consumption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in architecture concepts, along with 10+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience applying expertise and new methods to solve complex architecture problems in technical disciplines.
  • Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages (Python or Java).
  • Expert level experience with AWS or other Public Cloud providers.
  • Hands-on experience delivering BI and AI/ML solutions for stakeholders and data scientists.
