The Quality Assurance and Control Manager will lead the organization's quality assurance and control efforts, developing a comprehensive strategy to ensure high-quality products that meet industry regulations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Main Objectives- To develop and implement a robust QA and QC strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- To implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001:2015 or Six Sigma to improve consistency and efficiency in quality management, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
- To ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of product development, minimizing risks and preventing non-compliance issues.
- To foster a culture of accountability and responsibility for product quality across all teams, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the department.
- To promote quality awareness among team members, ensuring they understand the importance of quality in achieving business objectives.
- To execute test plans, including manual and automated testing, to ensure comprehensive test coverage, identifying defects early and resolving them promptly.
- To manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely verification of fixes, reducing downtime and improving overall quality.
- To adhere to quality control processes and standards, maintaining a high level of quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- To analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and root causes of quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- To prepare and present quality reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, demonstrating the value of quality in driving business success.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing methodologies and tools, with at least 5 years focused on QA/QC in product development, ensuring a deep understanding of quality principles and practices.
- Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role, demonstrating the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve quality excellence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, enabling effective management of complex quality issues and implementation of quality improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior management and customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering quality results.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred, indicating a high level of expertise in quality management and leadership.
- Relevant certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma), demonstrating a commitment to quality excellence and ongoing professional development.
- Valid certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ, ISTQB, CMSQ) are highly desirable, indicating a high level of expertise in quality management and leadership.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, enabling effective management of teams and development of quality leaders.
- A proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement, driving quality excellence and business success.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and delivering quality results under pressure.
