This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to employees across APAC, ensuring that they receive the help they need to succeed in their roles.

  • Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform HR transactions in Workday, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with reorganizations, including position management and benefit changes.
  • Prepare payroll information, including tax withholdings and deductions.
  • Onboard and offboard employees, ensuring a smooth transition process.
  • Execute repeatable processes, such as benefits enrollment and terminations.
  • Oversee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Track probation periods and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with reporting and audit, ensuring accurate and timely data.
  • Provide employment verification and other support services to employees.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and escalate unresolved matters to Tier 2, EC Manager or relevant stakeholders/COEs.
Responsibilities

The APAC Employee Connection Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to employees across APAC.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of HR transactions.
  • Supporting reorganizations, including position management and benefit changes.
  • Preparing payroll information, including tax withholdings and deductions.
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring a smooth transition process.
  • Executing repeatable processes, such as benefits enrollment and terminations.
  • Overseeing benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Tracking probation periods and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assisting with reporting and audit, ensuring accurate and timely data.
  • Providing employment verification and other support services to employees.
  • Proactively identifying potential issues and escalating unresolved matters to Tier 2, EC Manager or relevant stakeholders/COEs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources services and administration.
  • A local speaker with a fully professional level of English (and at least one more language from the region is a plus).
  • Proven knowledge of international employment, payroll, global mobility practices, social security, and labor laws in India (and SEA/APAC a plus).
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working with contact center technology, including contact center tracking systems and HRIS - Workday knowledge preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (and O365, SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage, influence, partner, negotiate, and effectively communicate through verbal and written methods.
  • Adaptive and flexible to new ideas and change.
  • Ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential issues, complex and challenging cases, and customers.
