Job Description:
">The Returns Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the process of client returns, ensuring efficient handling and resolution while maintaining positive relationships with both customers and suppliers.
This position involves processing client returns to company stock and suppliers using in-house processing software, applying for supplier RMA numbers, and ensuring that appropriate products are shipped to the supplier.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Zero outstanding open RMAs in the database aged over 60 days, developing and maintaining good relationships with customers/manufacturers by the most appropriate communication method (i.e., fax, email, telephone) to aid the smooth operation of returns.
The Returns Specialist will also be responsible for transferring stock from bin to bin or warehouse to warehouse using in-house processing software, familiarizing and obtaining a thorough understanding of in-house processing software (AX and MS Outlook), and ensuring goods are identified correctly before shipping.
Liaising with internal departments, arranging and co-ordinating deliveries with different couriers, providing support and assistance as required to meet the companies' objectives (i.e., picking, packing, invoicing, cycle counting, stock and stock takes), and attaining continuous improvements in quality and cycle time are key responsibilities of this role.
Requirements:
- BBA/MBA Supply Chain
- 1 – 2 years in Supply Chain (Experience in procurement will be a plus)
- Good communication skills
- Background of working with US vendors, distribution, or the retail computer hardware/software industry, is preferred.
- Expertise in vendor negotiation and administration, and proficiency with basic MS Office applications is also required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral are required, as well as effective time management.
