Job Overview

The Assistant Manager AR plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless accounts receivable processes, fostering robust vendor relationships, and supporting comprehensive financial audits. This position is responsible for optimizing payment workflows to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise the Accounts Payable team and daily processing of invoices and payments.
  2. Maintain accurate entry and coding of invoices in the accounting system.
  3. Negotiate with vendors and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  4. Monitor cash flow requirements and prepare payment schedules.
  5. Reconcile monthly statements and identify areas for process enhancements.
  6. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  8. Provide necessary documentation and explanations during financial audits.
  9. Implement efficient payment processes.
  10. Train and mentor team members on best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in AR Department.
  2. Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
