Join us for a dynamic opportunity as an Energy & Infrastructure Lawyer in Pakistan.

This role offers the chance to work with various high-profile organizations on diverse legal advisory projects spanning multiple countries and borders, providing expert guidance on commercial and corporate matters, including daily advice.

Your responsibilities will include involvement in a wide range of energy and infrastructure transactions across several countries within the Middle East, helping clients navigate the evolving landscape of these sectors. Projects may involve greenfield project development and project finance transactions, regulatory model adaptation, and mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be expected to manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the practice and wider network, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You will also contribute to the development of our legal practice through initiatives such as internal training, precedent development, know-how sharing, team and firm events, presentations, and article writing for publications.

We seek a motivated individual who can help shape our law brand: this role is best suited for aspiring lawyers with experience in established law firms looking to develop their careers further by joining our growing team.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the region's energy & infrastructure sector, including key players, industry trends, and relevant legal topics and issues.

Candidates should possess problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a flexible approach to work and challenges, along with excellent negotiation abilities and a desire to continually develop their legal knowledge.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal environment.
  • Familiarity with common topics in the sector, such as project agreements, project finance documentation, construction contracts, O&M agreements, oil & gas contracting structures, etc.
  • Ability to develop regulatory frameworks for evolving utility markets.
  • Strong client relationship-building capabilities combined with strategic and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, self-management, and project management skills.
