Lead QA Specialist Job Title

About the Role:
This highly experienced Lead QA Specialist will oversee quality assurance initiatives in an Agile-driven software environment. The role involves leading a senior QA team, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions across the lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
  1. Lead and mentor a team of senior QA engineers in day-to-day testing operations.
  2. Define and enforce test strategies, plans, and regression suites covering system, integration, and release testing cycles.
  3. Champion Agile testing methodologies and quality best practices across teams.

Automation & Tooling:
The ideal candidate will have experience with automated testing frameworks leveraging tools such as SmartBear TestComplete, Selenium, and Postman/SOAPUI for API testing. Ensuring full test integration into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments is also essential.

Functional, API & Data Testing:
The successful candidate will design and execute functional, regression, and performance tests. Validating data integrity across SQL and NoSQL databases during test cycles is also required. Collaboration with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects is crucial.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
The ideal candidate will manage the defect lifecycle, track quality KPIs, and generate actionable QA reports for stakeholders. Developing reusable test assets, generating test data, and supporting documentation efforts are also essential. Driving process improvement initiatives to reduce bugs, increase test coverage, and improve delivery velocity is critical.
