Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Technical Lead to lead our software support team. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective resolution of software issues, as well as driving process improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage a team of software support specialists, overseeing their work to ensure high-quality issue resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  2. Analyze and resolve complex software issues escalated from lower-level support teams, documenting lessons learned and implementing preventive measures.
  3. Maintain visibility into production incidents, identifying trends, root causes, and areas for process enhancement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Systems, Networks, and Database Administration, to ensure efficient tracking, prioritization, and resolution of production issues.
  5. Work closely with Product Development and Testing teams to identify product enhancements and bug fixes based on stakeholder feedback and self-identification.
  6. Ensure effective communication and coordination among relevant teams to manage production and support lifecycles, deploying reliable software solutions.
  7. Analyze transactional system databases after release deployments to detect data inconsistencies or damage.
  8. Develop and execute corrective actions to restore full data integrity.
  9. Maintain a centralized repository of reported issues, root cause analyses, and affected transactions.
  10. Support release and change management processes, maintaining up-to-date documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge repositories to enhance team efficiency and issue resolution.
  11. Prepare and publish monthly software defects and support performance reports for stakeholders.
  12. Stay updated on new releases and features of PSW software applications (e.g., PCS).
  13. Promote best practices in software support and encourage continuous improvement and learning within the team.
  14. Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to team members to enhance overall support capabilities.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of software applications, including PSW software applications (e.g., PCS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving complex software issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Experience with change management and release processes.
  • Familiarity with database systems and data analysis.
