Administrative Compliance Specialist

This role supports the Compliance Department with various administrative duties. The job entails maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Compliance Team with data entry and uploading of required documents in the database.
  • Create and distribute reports on fleet, drivers and contractors.
  • Provide administrative support for tax reporting including applicable federal, state and local requirements.
  • Maintain responsibility for accuracy of vehicle, driver and carrier database.
  • Monitor onboard recording/tracking devices and correlate driver app usage, assisting with user training.
  • Track and monitor driver Hours of Service (HOS) and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Assist with maintenance of driver and fleet files, ensuring compliance with FMCSA driver qualification and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining DOT Accident Registry.
  • Create and distribute departmental SOPs.
  • Assist in facilitating required documentation and responses to DOT violations, including Data-Q and corrective action when applicable.
  • Manage and maintain all printed and electronic files in a secure and confidential manner.
