Proposal Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Proposal Writer to develop high-quality, compelling business proposals and bids to support our organization's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and draft compelling business proposals tailored to business requirements
- Conduct market research to identify current and future trends and opportunities
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and submit business proposals as bids
- Address queries related to proposals and raise concerns after assessing Terms of Reference (ToRs)
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to the content and presentation of proposals, including preparing management summaries
- Ensure proposals are compliant with business requirements and reflect best practices in structure, content, and presentation
- Apply APMP best practices to ensure high-quality, professional proposals
- Implement and maintain proposal development tools, templates, and processes for continuous improvement
- Must have a degree in English language and literature
- Two years of experience in proposal writing or a bidding department is preferred
- Familiarity with bidding processes and RFPs is a plus
- Proven success in managing and winning competitive bids/proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with proposal management software and tools is an advantage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- APMP Foundation (or higher) certification is required
