Proposal Development Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to lead the development and submission of proposals. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating proposal documents from inception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive proposal outlines and schedules to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize and update proposal documents, including sending reminders to designated team members.
  • Evaluate document compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) criteria, focusing on content, formatting, length, layout, and other requirements.
  • Maintain exceptional results by utilizing templates and adhering to proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and visual appeal.
  • Compose, edit, compile, and organize information from various sources to create cohesive and compelling proposals.
  • Update bid spreadsheets on a weekly basis, adding new bids and tracking results in real-time.
  • Develop engaging bid content, including executive summaries and cover letters, while monitoring changes to solicitation and adjusting work accordingly.
Requirements:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel software applications.
  • Ability to drive the proposal process from pre-RFP planning through delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
  • Capacity to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, handling multiple proposals and tasks simultaneously with deadlines.
