Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the efficient day-to-day operations of the office using a range of administrative software.
  • Develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management procedures.
  • Monitor and control office expenditure, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Maintain the condition of the office premises and arrange for necessary repairs to be carried out.
  • Conduct staff appraisals, manage employee performance, and address any disciplinary issues that may arise.
  • Delegate tasks to staff members, monitor their workload and output, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and present findings as required.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and complaints, providing a high level of service at all times.
  • Review and update health and safety policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices to prevent accidents.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, preferably in an office setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in administrative software and technology, including Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with health and safety policies and procedures, with a commitment to upholding these standards at all times.
