About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Representative in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our Country Office, developing and maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders, and contributing to the achievement of our strategic objectives.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, civil society organizations, and other key partners
• Contribute to the development and implementation of country programming frameworks and strategic plans
• Represent FAO in intergovernmental forums and working groups, promoting the organization's mandate and interests
• Provide technical assistance and support to governments and other stakeholders on food security, agriculture, and rural development issuesRequired Skills and Qualifications• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international development, agriculture, economics, or environmental science
• At least 10 years of experience in international development, with a focus on food security, agriculture, and rural development
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with government stakeholders, civil society organizations, and other key partners
