Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of an accounting system to record and report financial transactions according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Assist the manager in the setup and maintenance of the general ledger module, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions.
  • Record entries in the general ledger module and participate in regular updates of the chart of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly opening and closing processes for various modules within the general ledger module, integrating data from ERP modules to ensure timely updates.
  • Enter Journal Vouchers into the ERP system and collect supporting documents from relevant departments.
  • Generate financial reports, including Trial Balance, Grouping, and Account Analysis, from the Oracle-based ERP system.
  • Prepare data responses to queries or discrepancies related to the general ledger, as received from internal or external audits.
