About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned civil engineer to lead our projects within the Sindh region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols by coordinating with various departments and supervising project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Civil Works Planning: Utilize construction management techniques to ensure projects are completed within specified timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  2. Scheduling: Schedule construction activities to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess project progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
  4. Project Drawings Review: Review project drawings and coordinate with the Planning & Development department for feedback and inputs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  5. Preliminary Site Surveys: Organize preliminary site surveys for planning, preparation, and deployment of manpower, ensuring efficient project execution.
  6. Safety Risk Assessment: Assess safety risks to comply with company Health, Safety & Environment policy and objectives, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Construction Planning: Facilitate Project Engineers and Construction Coordinators in preparing construction plans covering strategy, methodology, and timelines, obtaining approval from the competent authority.
  8. Civil Works Approval: Review and approve civil works, materials as per tender requirement.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Lead activities to ensure compliance with applicable construction and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance.
  10. Resource Mobilization: Mobilize appropriate resources for project execution, including planning construction of site offices to mobilize manpower and commence project work.
  11. Progress Monitoring: Regularly review progress reports on development work, proactively identifying and resolving emerging issues to ensure project completion within stipulated timelines.
  12. Contract Terms Review: Review contract terms, supervise the process to obtain necessary permits and licenses, ensuring legal compliance for construction activities.
  13. Risk Management: Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks that may cause delays in the construction project, implementing strategies to minimize project disruptions.
About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 9 years of experience in project management. You should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
