About the Project

The product we are working on is one of the first licensed digital asset banks powered by Blockchain technology. Our team is responsible for delivering a core part of one of the company's key services. This platform allows for simplified capital raising for companies and investors, enabling the creation of new assets, managing offerings, buying, trading, and earning crypto to future-proof investment strategies.

About the Role

  • As a senior software engineer, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex new features and improvements with high quality.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Preparing technical documentation to ensure new software features and code changes are properly documented is also a key responsibility.
  • You will continuously enhance the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and making plans to repay it.
  • Responding to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity is also required.
  • Collaborating with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes is essential.
  • Collaborating with SRE engineers and solution architects to optimize application availability, resilience, and observability is also necessary.
  • Nurturing and guiding less experienced engineers through coaching and mentoring is a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Java (17+), with experience in modern Java web frameworks (ideally Quarkus).
  • Hands-on experience with reactive Java frameworks (Project Reactor, Mutiny, or similar) is also required.
  • Experience working on distributed systems based on event-driven architecture is necessary.
  • Working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker Compose is also essential.
  • A strong understanding of English is necessary for effective communication within the team.
