Core Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Core Network Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Core Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IMS core network solutions. This includes planning, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud core network elements, software installation, and commissioning. You will also integrate network elements, migrate subscribers/traffic, and perform patch upgrades and expansions of existing network elements.

Additionally, you will provide technical training, guidance, and communication to on-site maintenance engineers and customer engineers. You will support projects of vIMS Core entities and VoLTE, ensuring smooth delivery of IMS Core related Projects.

You will be responsible for technical communication and clarification with operators, providing relevant solutions with the support team towards customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and design HLD/LLD documents.
  2. Deploy cloud core network elements.
  3. Install and commission software.
  4. Integrate network elements.
  5. Migrate subscribers/traffic.
  6. Patch upgrade and expand existing network elements.
  7. Troubleshoot network issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in ECE/Computer Science (IT) or related fields.
  • Extensive experience with SIP Call processing and SIP Supplementary Services.
  • In-depth understanding of Telecom Protocols and technologies like SIP, SDP, H.248, MGCP, DIAMETER, TCP, IPSEC, IP protocols.
  • Working experience on IMS interworking entities (P/I/S-CSCF, HSS, SLF, TAS(ATS) BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, MRFP, AGW, IBCF) and interfaces.
  • Knowledge on Session Border Controller, NAT, Firewall, Authentication Encryption, L2 Layer switches (Routers/Switches).
