Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role requires a strong vision for managing operations and excellent technical knowledge of gensets and electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Management: Plan and manage the operation and maintenance of generators, boilers, turbines, compressors, chillers, instruments, and other allied auxiliaries.
  • Waste Heat Recovery System: Develop and implement strategies to optimize waste heat recovery.
  • Team Performance Enhancement: Enhance the performance of the Boiler Team, Electrical Maintenance Team, and Instrument Maintenance Team.
  • Power and Steam Distribution: Ensure uninterrupted distribution of power and steam to process plants.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide adequate training to staff in their respective fields.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Formulate and implement standard operating procedures for timely repair and rectification of breakdowns or electrical/instrumental faults.
  • Maintenance Scheduling and Planning: Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules and equipment operation troubleshooting guides.
  • Equipment Modifications and Upgrades: Analyze and recommend equipment modifications to improve production efficiency.
  • New Equipment Commissioning and Validation: Participate in the commissioning and validation of new equipment and process systems.
  • Safety Standards and Compliance: Monitor equipment and operational conditions to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Leadership and Vision: Possess a clear vision for managing operations.
  • Tech Knowledge and Skills: Have good operational knowledge of gensets and electronic devices.
