Loss Prevention Specialist

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our operations by identifying and preventing losses resulting from internal factors.

This involves collaborating closely with the Stock Controller to detect any stock-related issues and implement corrective measures accordingly.

  • Monitor customer transactions using CCTV footage and till data to ensure accurate recording of all payments.
  • Investigate discrepancies in cash transactions and escalate concerns to the management team for prompt resolution.
  • Verify employee attendance and prevent ghost staffing by reviewing CCTV footage and shift schedules.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with established procedures related to cash, payroll, and operations.
  • Work alongside the Stock Controller to identify irregularities in stock levels and potential shrinkage, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Promote transparency and accountability by producing clear and regular reports on cash flow integrity, payroll accuracy, and stock movements.
  • Flag suspicious behavior, inefficiencies, or process gaps that could lead to financial losses and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing data and records.
  • Prior experience in CCTV monitoring or loss prevention in a hospitality or retail environment is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of cash handling, payroll, and scheduling systems is essential.
  • Able to communicate concerns firmly and professionally, demonstrating confidence and poise.
  • Highest level of trust, discretion, and ability to work independently are required.
