We are seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Information Systems Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and a focus on delivering technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Support:
    - Provide first-level technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
    - Assist users in setting up and configuring workstations, laptops, and other IT equipment.
    - Collaborate with team members to address complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
  2. Network Management:
    - Monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    - Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other networking devices.
    - Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  3. System Administration:
    - Administer and maintain servers, ensuring high levels of reliability and performance.
    - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
    - Conduct regular system updates and perform routine system audits.
  4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
    - Investigate and resolve hardware and software-related issues in a timely manner.
    - Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
    - Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
    - Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a clear and understandable manner.
    - Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related matters.

Job Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role.

  5. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
