Instructor (Research)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instructor (Research) to support our mission of promoting human development through a multidisciplinary and research-based approach.

The Human Development Programme focuses on early childhood development, recognizing its critical role in laying the foundation for future learning, development, and wellbeing. We apply an integrated approach to education, health, nutrition, and stimulation in early years, aiming to enhance physical, cognitive, social, and emotional abilities of children.

This position involves implementing project activities as per the approved project plan, managing day-to-day operations of the project, and monitoring project goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for developing training materials, creating project schedules, and overseeing logistical arrangements for training sessions.

Responsibilities
  • Implement project activities as per the approved project plan.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor project goals and objectives, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop training materials, including manuals and presentations, to support capacity building initiatives.
  • Create project schedules aligning with project timelines.
  • Oversee logistical arrangements for training sessions.
  • Organize and facilitate quarterly and annual review meetings with partners.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual project reports.
  • Attend regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a discipline related to Early Childhood Development (ECD).
  • At least five years of experience in designing and conducting projects in education or early child development.
  • Proven experience in conducting/coordinating trainings and capacity building initiatives.
  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of qualitative research methods.
  • Strong communication skills in English and other local languages.
  • Williness to travel extensively across Pakistan.
