Tax Compliance & Financial Reporting

The Tax Compliance and Financial Reporting role plays a pivotal part in ensuring tax efficiency and regulatory compliance. This position involves preparing and filing tax returns, conducting tax reconciliations, analyzing tax liabilities, and staying updated with UAE tax regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Tax Compliance
      • Prepare and file VAT returns, adhering to UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
      • Manage corporate tax calculations, filings, and submissions as per UAE tax laws.
      • Monitor and handle excise tax obligations for specific vehicle imports.
      • Ensure timely payment of taxes and maintain accurate tax records for audits.
    • Financial Reporting
      • Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns.
      • Provide support for internal and external tax audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in the automobile industry or trading sector in the UAE.
    • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, corporate tax regulations, and FTA compliance.
    • Experience with accounting and tax software (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or similar).
    • Strong problem-solving skills for tax calculations and financial impact assessments.
    • Accuracy in tax filings and compliance documentation.
    • Ability to coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and internal finance.
