Job Description:

A Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc., and experience with routing protocols like OSPF or BGP.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Implement security measures to protect our network from external threats.
  • Maintain network documentation and keep it up-to-date.
  • Provide technical support to users for any networking or systems-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions on the network.
  • Conduct regular backups of important data.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in networking or systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF or BGP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus.
